Mini Frangipani Plant. Frangipani little rainbow plumeria obtusa is a true dwarf shrub making it ideal for pots. Frangipanis are tropical trees reaching around 2 5 4 metres high with distinctive umbrella shaped canopies.
A dwarf frangipani generally grows up to 2 metres upon maturity with semi dwarfs slightly larger depending on climate and weather variables. The more tropical the climate the larger this plant will grow an evergreen species the highly scented tri colour flowers will appear throughout the year in warmer climates deliciously fragrant frangipani thrive in the warmer climates. We stock two dwarf frangipani which are the common hardy rubra species but we have them in smaller pots only.
Frangipanis are amongst the most spectacular plants of summer.
Frangipanis are slow growers typically adding only about 20 30cm in height each year. All will root heating mat will root quickest then the greenhouse one and lastly the shade cuttings. This is called hardening off and must be done with any succulent type plant. They make beautiful and long lasting container.
