Forsythia Plante. Most garden centers sell established forsythia plants. It really lights up the spring with an abundance of yellow blooms.
They do best in soils with a ph that ranges from about 7 0 to 8 0 neutral to slightly alkaline. This is why it is sometimes also referred to as golden bells forsythia. So a yearly pruning and trimming help to keep the size and shape of the plant in check.
