Dwarf Milkweed. Leaves opposite on short petioles usually limited to 4 6 pairs. Orange or yellow corona.
Flowers white to green borne in clusters with long stalks. Propagation of dwarf milkweed. Likes sandy soil roadsides and dry sunny conditions.

Although the strong fragrance of dwarf milkweed attracts many insects only fairly large ones like butterflies and bees are effective pollinators of this plant. Germination usually takes place in 1 3 months at 18 c. Fruiting occurs late june through late august.
